<p>Ideal for the crafter or as a replacement clockwork for large dial clocks, this reliable quartz movement is simple to install. The threaded mounting shaft measures 11/16" long and, because of the addition of hardware when you mount it, will require the thickness of your clock case to be no more than 9/16" thick. The diameter of the shaft is 5/16" and will require a slightly larger hole in your clock case so the shaft will slide through. Everything is included in this package: the clock movement mechanism, a pair of hands (see image), mounting hardware and hanger. The movement takes one (1) AA battery (not included). There is a simple time-setting wheel on the back. The compact movement measures 2-3/16" square and the sturdy plastic case, not including the shaft, is 5/8 inches thick. Stamped black satin metal classic style hands are included. The minute hand measures 10" long and the hour hand is 7-1/2" long. Together they will fit a clock dial up to 24 - 30 inches in diameter.
